As I have built up this blog it has become multifaceted. It is a historical look at Supergirl, a look through my collection, and perhaps above all a collection of my artwork (my Supergirl art at the very least). From here, you can take a look at my blog posts specifically about my art but hopefully you’ll stick around for more!
Supergirl in the Multiverse:

Supergirl in the Multiverse is a weekly feature that predates the blog by a few weeks but looks to catalogue the DC Multiverse through the lens of the Girl of Steel. Starting as a year-long project finding and researching the Supergirl representative of each of the 52 universes shown in the Multiversity Guidebook by Grant Morrison, this project has evolved to look beyond and continue into the greater Multiverse or Omniverse of DC Comics. Supergirl in the Multiverse has become a sort of flagship of the blog and part of me hopes it becomes what I am know for.

For a multitude of reasons, sometimes my Supergirl in the Multiverse drawings take a turn halfway through and I will adjust the final design after posting or I’ll make adjustments or tweaks before posting. I felt the main figure in my piece for Earth-37 worked well, but I didn’t flesh out the background elements making up the left and right side of the tryptic as much as I wanted, so here the piece is presented with just the main figure. For Super-She-Hulk the composition I wanted was based on The Incredible Hulk #1 cover, but I also thought the monster form by itself made for a successful piece. I got unfortunately fairly far into my American Girl drawing before realizing that the hero’s costume did not in fact include a cape causing me to pivot rather drastically in composition. My original Super Teen drawing leaned more towards the Archie comics style, but I wasn’t particularly happy with how it turned out so I decided to redraw the figure. A very minor change in the Earth-11 Laurel Kent design was the smoothie cup design. The initial cup use the bisexual flag colors much more obviously but I wanted it to be a bit more abstract.
Supergirl Traditional Art

I have been drawing since I was a kid and drawing Supergirl for almost as long as that. This is an exploration of some of my pencil and paper or ink and paper Supergirl drawings that I found when digging through my old sketchbooks. Some of these are more finished than others but it’s an interesting look through the evolution of my Supergirl art.
